ResidenSee is a personal residency tracking app designed to help you monitor your time spent in different states for tax purposes.

Your privacy is simple: All your data stays on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store any of your information on external servers.

The app accesses the following information, stored only on your device:

Location Data — GPS coordinates when you check in, used to determine which state you're in
Check-in History — Dates and locations of your check-ins for residency tracking
Move Plans — Any relocation plans you create within the app

All data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This means:

ResidenSee uses the following device capabilities:

Apple Maps / Google Maps — For displaying your check-in locations on a map (map data is fetched directly by the maps provider)
Device Location Services — To determine your current location when you check in

We do not integrate with analytics services, advertising networks, or any data brokers.

You have complete control over your data:

Delete individual check-ins — Edit or remove any check-in from your history
Delete all data — Uninstalling the app removes all stored data permanently
Location permission — You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings
